Cassell Consulting has been offering Primavera P6 scheduling classes in-person & virtually to the construction industry for over 20 years. We are constantly refining our curriculum to deliver up-to-date information. The Fundamentals course is perfect for project engineers, project managers, superintendents, schedulers, and anyone wanting to gain experience in scheduling. Our custom courses allow for a range of background experience. We believe the best way to learn is by doing. All of our lessons are hands-on and you will be working with the software the entire class. Our qualified instructors have real-world construction experience they bring to the classroom. Whether you’re just starting a position that requires project scheduling, or have been muddling through P6 for some time and feel like there has to be a better way. Fundamentals of Primavera P6 Training is typically a 2-day course that provides hands-on training of basic P6 fundamentals. At the end of this training, attendees will be able to setup and build a schedule, print reports and update progress for timely project management decisions, throughout the duration of the project. This course can be completed onsite or online.
Day 1: P6 Fundamentals
Day 2: Optimizing the Schedule & Reporting
Optional Topics as time allows and per attendees’ preferences
Attendees will receive: New comprehensive class workbook / reference manual
Required: Minimum two years construction experience, with a working knowledge of project scheduling and solid Windows computer skills.
Recommended: At least one year using Primavera P3, SureTrak, or Microsoft Project.
